Rev. Laura Sundberg has been at St. James since July 1999. She loves movies, creative movement, travel, and cycling. Peacemaking is also a passion. Worship, education, crisis ministry and working with children are her greatest joys. These days her past times include parenting, children's entertainment, Chinese culture and Mandarin, watching gymnastics, going to playgrounds and swimming with her recently adopted 4 year old daughter. Laura spent 3 months with Ecumenical Accompaniment Program for Palestine and Israel in 2004 as part of a World Council of Churches peace program. She attended Emmanuel College in Toronto, graduating with a M.Div. in 1993.

Robin Osborne is the other member on the ministry team. She's a Montrealer by birth and Toronto-educated. Seven years ago she came to Saskatchewan and fell in love with its beauty. Photography is her joy and walking one of her spiritual practices. You can see her in all seasons along the waterways of Regina. Diversity of nature and diversity in human culture grounds and intrigues Robin. St. James' affirming status and welcoming atmosphere suits Robin just fine. She enjoys providing hospitality to all sorts of people--feeding them food--feeding them spiritually. She aims to provide lively worship, lively learning opportunities and lively invitations to build bridges between people. One of the ways that happens is through St. James' contemporary worship. Drama frequently unfolds drawing on the amazing acting skills of the St. James' Players. Directing plays with meaning and humour is another of Robin's passions. She's convinced the Spirit inspires moves and changes people through what's communicated in the life and worship here at St. James.
