Diane Robinson
Rev. Diane Robinson first worked for St. James during the summer of 2014, providing 5 weeks of pulpit supply while Rev. Laura was on holidays. From October 2014 - March 2015 Diane (again) worked for the congregation, this time as a presbytery appointee. On April 1, 2015 Diane became 'official' when she was called by the congregation (to do pastoral care and worship leadership, 1/4 time). Diane describes herself as a "cradle United" having been born into the United Church of Canada. She discerned her call to ordained ministry in 2000. Following the required 1 year of discernment - and upon completion of her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in 2002 - Diane began her ministry studies at Vancouver School of Theology (VST) in 2003. Between 2003 and 2011 Diane attended not only VST, but also United Theological College (UTC) in Montreal and Atlantic School of Theology (AST) in Halifax.  She graduated with a Masters of Divinity (from AST) in 2011; and was ordained by BC Conference, also in 2011. Diane's passions include: husband Ken, 2 children (Jeff and Alysson), 3 grandchildren (Lucas, Kaitlyn, and Madalyn), cats, care for the earth, music, worship, horses, Scotland and chocolate. If you would like a visit from Diane please call her at 306-737-6328
