LIVING AS A RAINBOW PEOPLE:
Join us as we tell stories, have small group discussions and learn about the following continuums: biological sex, gender identity, general expression and sexual orientation. Tell us what you want to learn.

Feb 28 – GLBT Realities
March 7 – For the Bible Tells Me So – a 90 minute video that tells the story of four church families and their relationship with their gay and lesbian children. Discussion to follow. This excellent DVD is available to borrow for the next few weeks if you wish to watch it at home.
March 14 – Bible Study – A close look at the “Clobber Passages” that are used to condemn GLBT persons.
March 21 – Speakers TBA

We are looking for 2 Communications Officers who can publicize St James with flyers, posters, connections with media and work with the ministers and committee chair people. Please speak to Robin or Laura, if interested

The item to bring for the food bank in March item is baby food.
Youth Choir
Anyone interested in being part of a youth choir for ages 5-13. Practices will be Sundays after church. Please talk to Joan Robertson the Choir Director

Hearing Enhancement System
We have 4 new hearing enhancement sets. They come with a single ear jack but any standard headphone will also plug into the unit. Regular users may want to bring they own headsets for sanitary purposes. Ask an usher for a hearing enhancement unit if you need one.
Hospital Visiting
We are not able to access all records at the hospitals due to new reulations. If you know of someone who is in hospital that would like us to visit please call Laura, Robin or Margaret at 543-2626
